Barbara Moseley-Marks Biography

       Barbara Moseley-Marks earned her Real Estate License in Northern Virginia. Since then, she has worked with and learned from some of the industry’s top agents and coaches to enhance her understanding of the market and all aspects of real estate. Based in Prince William County, Barbara is the expert to help you with all your home buying and selling needs in the Northern Virginia and surrounding area. Specializing in helping buyers and sellers, her multi-faceted expertise is of great benefit to her clients. She gains great satisfaction in helping those who thought there was no hope.

         Barbara uses the latest internet technologies to market and find homes at an expert level. She believes that education is paramount to exceeding her client’s expectations; to that end, she has advanced her real estate education earning the CDRS (Certified Default Resolution Specialist) designation which allows her to help homeowners in pre-foreclosure situations.  Her constant dedication to service and work ethic has earned her many awards throughout the years. She has had the honor of receiving the Meritorious Service Award 1993-1994; Distinguished Service Award – 1996 and an Ambassador for Peace Certificate Issued by the Universal Peace Federation and the International and Interreligious Federation for World Peace. Additionally, she has provided guidance and counseling for married couples as well as taught character education to young people.

    Barbara is a member in good standing of the Prince William Association of Realtors (PWAR), Virginia Association of Realtors (VAR), National Association of realtors (NAR), in addition to the Regional Multiple Listing Service (MLS). Barbara feels that being a REALTOR_® is about more than joining professional associations, she believes REALTORS should be involved in the communities where they work as well. Barbara has served her community in many capacities from 1974 to present. She has served as President for the Women’s International Religious Fellowship; former Board Member and current Life Member of African and American Women’s Association(AAWA); Regional Chairwoman of Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) and Founder/President, Pure Style, Inc. She and EXIT Realty also support Habitat for Humanity and to date they have donated more than $2 Million in the charity and built more than 15 Habitat Homes.

     Having lived in different parts of the world such as Guyana and the United States, she has a strong ability to relate to and communicate with people with diverse backgrounds and comprehends the needs and concerns of clients who are relocating.
